It’s raining in Eugene, and has been since last evening.
The good news is that the animals are no longer pairing up. The bad news is that the uniform partner disbandment was due to limited ark confines, not a change in weather patterns.
Granted, I’m no meteorologist, but when drops are no longer distinguishable I think it might be raining pretty hard. It didn’t quite wash out GameDay, or Puddles’ Magic Motorcycle Ride, but it did leave students looking as if they were on the losing end of a mud-slinging war.
Five hours and counting until kickoff. Let’s hope the rain relents just a touch. Or not. Odds are that Washington D.C.’s own Kevin Hogan hasn’t thrown a football in rain like this. Ever. Oregon in the rain? That’s like, well, Ducks on a pond I suppose.
